Today’s Environmental Activists

Changing long-term trends in pollution, global climate change, and water protection requires money, foresight, and leadership. The implementing of new law focuses attention on protecting our world. It does not enforce these laws.

Environmental protection requires more than important dedicated activism. Third world countries have not been previously held accountable for air pollution and global warming. Laws differ among countries. Poor less educated countries move forward with new technology advances and successfully expand their economies. This is great progress.

Efforts must be made to enforce penalties on the books for environmental catastrophes to reverse the existing pattern of passing legislation without holding leaders responsible for fines and clean-ups. Money is moved into growing economies. Human rights matter. Legal enforcement should address the environmental claims in countries as they are transformed into powerful economies.
